Glenna Burleson

Glenna Burleson has more than twenty five years of experience in group health insurance administration specializing in the sales, service and administration of hourly health and welfare programs. Prior to joining The Boon Group, Ms.Burleson was employed for ten years as the Manager of the Hourly Service Division for Hillhouse Associates, a division of New York Life Insurance Company. Thereafter, Ms.Burleson was employed for two years in Sales & Marketing for The Boon Insurance Agency, Inc. as Executive Assistant to R. Sterling Boon, and served for one year as Director of Administration for CEBA®.
As Executive Vice President, Ms. Burleson oversees all operations of Boon Administrative Services, which provide for various services for multiple fully insured products and plans, self insured plans and administrative services only arrangements. Division operations include: allocation of fringe benefit contributions based on hour bank accounting, average cost accounting, individual cost accounting or traditional accounting; premium billing, collection and reconciliation; policy issuance; eligibility reporting to clients and insurance carriers; month end reconciliation and reporting; claims adjudication and payment issuance; benefits verification; customer service; receipt, allocation and payment of pensions and 401(k) contributions; printed material and related inventory. Ms.Burleson's additional responsibilities and duties include: review, research and approve daily, weekly and monthly administration and claims banking transactions; coordinate efforts between marketing and insurance carriers in the design and implementation of new health insurance products; examine and approve or decline new case submissions; interface with insurance carriers' administration and compliance units to ensure compliance and quality standards; coordinate efforts between marketing and administration to ensure each group is serviced properly; work with marketing to analyze, design and implement specialized administrative services; consult with programmers in the design, implementation and ongoing use of automated systems.
