James Patton
Chief Operating Officer and Board Member - The Boon Group, Inc.
Vice President Sales - The Boon Insurance Agency, Inc.

Mr. Patton started with the Company in 1999 as a Regional Sales Manager in Paramus, New Jersey, which included the territory of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. Mr. Patton was responsible for delivery of the Contractors Insurance Trust product through a strategic alliance with CIGNA Healthcare. In 2000, Mr. Patton’s territory was expanded to include the Mid-West market cluster (Illinois, West Virginia, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, and Western Pennsylvania). In 2001, Mr. Patton moved to California to run two additional regional sales offices in Los Angeles and San Diego. In 2003, Mr. Patton moved to Austin, Texas and worked out of the corporate facilities managing the majority of the Company sales offices located throughout the United States. In 2005, Mr. Patton assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in addition this title at the beginning of 2007.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Patton owned and operated two small businesses employing sixty people.

Today, Mr. Patton’s responsibilities include managing strategic initiatives as related to future business opportunities and practices. In addition, Mr. Patton’s responsibilities include oversight and management of the sales, marketing, and proposal issuance departments.

Mr. Patton received a Master of Business Administration and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin.
