Kathy Sullivan
Vice President of Finance and Director - The Boon Group, Inc.
Kathleen S. Sullivan joined The Boon Group, Inc. as the Controller in February 1998. Prior to joining the Company in 1998, Ms. Sullivan was employed as Chief Financial Officer for Absolute Healthcare where she was responsible for the financial operations and consolidations of over 30 operating entities. She was also employed by Lockart & Associates as a Certified Public Accountant, and was involved with financial statement preparation, audits, and tax preparation for small to medium sized businesses. Ms. Sullivan has a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Sullivan currently serves as Vice President of Finance for The Boon Group, Inc. and Treasurer of FBA. Her duties include management and supervision of all accounting departments within the Company's subsidiaries and FBA, budget preparation, implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, and tax filings. In addition, the accounting department provides an independent and second level accounting for all cash received and disbursed for each plan; prepares monthly financial reports for each plan including bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, reconciliation, income statement and balance sheet; processes all cash transactions related to claims checking accounts and reconciles these accounts on a monthly basis; pays commissions and sends commission statements to agents, brokers, and consultants; and, issues all Form 1099s (including providers).
